Acrylic
$2-$20 per square inch + materials, depending on size and level of complexity and detail
Acrylic paintings usually include a fee for custom canvas and stretching, which depends on the size but usually runs between $50 and $350 (for 24”x36”).

Other materials include occasionally buying rights to a reference photo (usually about $5-$10 per photo), paints, and specialized brushes if needed.
Large format options:
Because large format watercolor paper or custom canvas stretching can be expensive, an economical option is to commission a smaller piece and have it printed through my website on a larger scale. I can digitize the smaller print and color balance it for printing for free.
For example:
Commissioned original painting for a 30”x20” would be about $675+. Depending on your intended use for the painting, a fine art poster is another option. For example, a 9”x12” painting would be about $120 and printing it as a 30”x20” would be an additional $65 making a total of $185.
Commission Price Guide
This is a general guide for pricing. Given the unique nature of each piece, hours spent on the piece will affect the final price. The minimum charge is $75. All payment is 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. Failure to receive delivery within 30 days of notified completion forfeits rights to the painting and it may be sold to another buyer.
Watercolor
$1-$5 per square inch + materials
Adding text to a digital file for printing - $10

Archival quality, cold-pressed watercolor paper runs from a few dollars a sheet to $60+ for large-format works. The size of the work will change the materials cost significantly.
